Tell me what you’re building.

Your business, the problem you’re facing, and what a useful result would look like. You don’t need a finished specification.

Prepare a useful project brief

  1. 01Share the context and your priorities.
  2. 02Review the brief generated on this page.
  3. 03Copy it to keep or share through your chosen channel.

What to include

Explain who your customers or users are, what they need to do, and what is difficult today. If you have an existing website, describe the pages or steps that need attention. For a web application, outline the current workflow and the people involved.

A useful starting point is the outcome you want, any launch date that matters, and a budget range if you have one. Leave out passwords, customer records, and confidential business data. You can define integrations and technical requirements later, once the scope is clearer.
